Beth Gillig ’15 of Frankfort, Ky. (Northfield Mount Herman) was recently named the Midwest Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.

Gillig claimed three event wins while helping the Pioneers roll past Macalester College 190.5-92.5 on Saturday. She took top honors in the 100-yard butterfly and 400 individual medley in times of 1:00.76 and 4:55.21, respectively, while also guiding the 200 medley relay team to victory in 1:56.58. She has the top time in the MWC this season in the 100 butterfly and ranks fourth in the 400 individual medley.
