Grinnell College Athletics

Lauren Chen '24, from Manhasset, N.Y. (Manhasset), has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Women's Golfer of the Week.
 
Chen registered the 10^th-best two-day score in program history while leading Grinnell College's women's golf team to a huge performance at the Wartburg Fall Invite. Chen's rounds of 74 and 72 resulted in a 146, good for fifth place of 98 golfers.
 
Grinnell finished third in the 17-team meet behind two nationally-ranked squads with a score of 602, the third-best two-day tally in program history.
