Jason Ormond ’13 was recently named named the Midwest Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week. Ormond, a 6-2, 195-pound right-hander, tossed a complete-game three-hitter as the Pioneers won a key 15-0 decision over Cornell College on Sunday. He struck out eight batters and walked just one in the seven-inning affair to improve to 3-2 on the season. Ormond is the second Pioneer to be named a MWC Pitcher of the Week this season.
