Box Score ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Grinnell College men's soccer team lost a 3-0 decision at Augustana College Friday night.

The contest was scoreless until the hosts tallied a goal in the 30th minute for a 1-0 halftime lead. They added two more goals in the second half to improve to 2-0-1.

Grinnell, 0-3, managed nine shots in the game with Joseph Brown '15, Benjamin Charney '15 and Benjamin Warner '15 taking two each. Victor Ghazal '16, Michael Hurley '16 and Jerry Brown '14 had one shot each.

Isaiah Tyree '15 played 85 minutes at keeper for Grinnell and had three saves, while Major May '17 played the final five minutes and had two saves.

Grinnell plays its first home contest of the season Sunday when Buena Vista University visits Springer Field. Action begins at 4 p.m.
