GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College hosts St. Norbert College in the opening round of the 2015 Midwest Conference Tournament Friday morning at Pioneer Park.
 
The first pitch is set for 9 a.m.
 
The Pioneers are the MWC South Division champs after going 11-5 in the division. They are 18-17 in all games.
 
St. Norbert is the second seed from the North, having gone 11-4 in divisional play and 19-16 overall.
 
In another first-round game, Ripon College and Cornell College meet each other in Newton. Ripon, the top team from the North, went 14-2 in the division and is 20-12 overall. Cornell is the second seed from the South and went 9-7 in the division while going 16-20 overall.
 
The winner of the tournament gets the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
