MONMOUTH, Ill. – Grinnell College's men's track and field team posted a trio of third-place finishes to highlight its trip to the Monmouth College Fighting Scot Invitational Saturday.

Placing third were
Nathaniel Crail in the 800-meter run (1:59.63), the 4x400 relay team of
Ed Hardman,
Jonathan Braun,
Colton Silvia and
Nate Kolacia (3:29.77) and
Ibuki Ogasawara in the pole vault (12-4).

Fourth place went to the 4x100 relay team of Hardman, Braun, Ogasawara and Silvia (49.78) and
John Lennon in the 1500 (4:09.43), while
Sean O'Reilly took fifth in the 800 (2:01.94) and
James Page was fifth in the javelin (146-9).

Hardman took sixth in the 100 in 11.44 and Silvia was eighth in the 400 in 51.13.

Page threw 115-5 in the hammer, which ranks eighth in program history.
