Abelow jumps onto GC track and field leader board in 5000

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Ben Abelow '28 jumped onto the all-time Grinnell College men's track and field leader board in the outdoor 5000-meter run Thursday at the Washington University Distance Carnival.

Abelow's clocking of 14 minutes, 56.71 seconds ranks ninth all-time and is the best for the program since 2024. Luke Robinson '26 ran 14:59.60, missing the top-10 list by a bit over 2 seconds.
