2016 MWC Baseball Tournament

DE PERE, Wis. - The Grinnell College baseball team will take on Beloit College in the opening round of the 2016 Midwest Conference Tournament Friday.

Grinnell, which won the MWC South Division for the third year in a row last Saturday, will play the North Division runner-up Bucaneers at 9:45 a.m. The contest will be at Westwood Field near Westwood Elementary School, which is West De Pere High School's home field. 

All other games, including the other first-round matchup between host St. Norbert College, the North Division champ, and South Division runner-up Cornell College will be played at Larry Van Alstine Field at the Mel Nicks Sports Complex.

The tourney champ receives the league's automatic berth to the regional round of the NCAA Division III National Tournament.

Saturday
Game 5 - Winner 4 vs. Loser 3, 10 a.m.
Game 6 - Winner 3 vs. Winner 5, 1 p.m.
Game 7 - repeat, if necessary, 4 p.m.
