GRINNELL, Iowa – The Grinnell College men's tennis team kept up its dominance in Midwest Conference play Saturday with 8-1 victories over Lawrence University and St. Norbert College.

Sam Stickels '19,
Zach Lane '19 and
Ben Cobin '20 were all a perfect 4-for-4 in their matches, while
Cole Miller '17 and
Tommy Pitcher '17 each won three times.

Grinnell went up 2-1 in doubles play against Lawrence with wins by the Nos. 2 and 3 teams of Stickels-Lane (8-1) and
Will Hamilton '17-Cobin (8-2).

Grinnell then swept through singles with Miller (6-0, 6-2), Stickels (6-4, 6-4), Pitcher (6-3, 6-1), Lane (6-1, 6-1), Hamilton (6-1, 6-3) and Cobin (6-1, 6-2).

It was doubles play where Grinnell was perfect against St. Norbert, winning with the teams of Pitcher-Miller (8-2), Stickels-Lane (8-0) and
Raghu Inturi '20-Cobin (8-2).

Miller and Stickels blanked their foes 6-0, 6-0 at Nos. 1 and 2 singles. Grinnell also won at Nos. 3 through 5 with Pitcher (6-0, 6-1), Lane (6-2, 6-2) and Cobin (6-2, 6-1).

Miller moved into the Pioneers' top 10 for singles career wins Saturday and now sits at 65.

The Pioneers step out of MWC play Sunday to play Coe College at Cedar Rapids.
