RIPON, Wis. – Grinnell College's men's tennis team steamrolled Ripon College 9-0 in a Midwest Conference contest Saturday.
 
The Pioneers won 96 of the 106 games contested, including 8-0 shutouts by the top two doubles teams of Sam Stickels '19-Raghu Inturi '20 and Will Hamilton '17-Ben Cobin '20 as well as a 6-0, 6-0 shutout by Arlo Detmer '20 at No. 6 singles.
 
Grinnell's other doubles win came from Henry Johnson '20 and Jack Lunn '20, who were victorious 8-1 at the third spot.
 
Winning the top five singles matches were Stickels (6-1, 6-1), Cobin (6-0, 6-1), Inturi (6-0, 6-1), Johnson (6-0, 6-1) and Lunn (6-2, 6-2).
 
The Pioneers improved to 4-0 in the MWC, giving them 77 wins in a row in league play and 129 consecutive against all conference opponents. Grinnell, 12-9 overall, plays at Lake Forest College Sunday.
