Box Score AUBURNDALE, Fla. – Grinnell College's baseball team opened its spring break trip with a tough test, facing a team receiving votes for the national rankings.
 
The teams were tied through two innings before the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh gradually pulled away for an 8-0 victory Wednesday morning.
 
Jared Booth '21 had two hits for Grinnell, while Sam Galanek '18, Carson Gampell '20, Brad Weaver '18 and Kory Czajkowski '20 added one each.
 
Jacob Morsch '20 had a solid outing on the mound, giving up seven hits and fanning one in six innings.
 
The Titans, who are 8-2, scored twice in the third inning, once in the fourth, fifth and eighth and three times in the ninth.
 
Grinnell, 1-6, faces Elmhurst College on Thursday.
