Academic All-Conference Team
GRINNELL, Iowa – For the fourth year in a row, Grinnell College has led all league schools in Midwest Conference All-Academic Team selections with 314.
Grinnell's total consisted of 251 actual student-athletes, some who earned Academic All-Conference honors in two or three sports. St. Norbert was a distant second with 212 selections.
The criteria to become an Academic All-Conference selection includes a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.33 which is calculated only in the awarded academic year. Freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors who letter in any of the MWC's fall, winter or spring sports are eligible for the award.
Grinnell's dominance can be seen in the fact the Pioneers had the most Academic All-Conference selections in one sports season (118 in the winter) and second-most in the other two seasons (102 in the fall and 94 in the spring).

Of the 18 league-sponsored sports, Grinnell had the most selections in more half of them with 11 – men's cross country (12), women's cross country (20), men's soccer (27), women's soccer (23), women's tennis (nine), men's basketball (17), men's indoor track and field (19), men's swimming and diving (22), women's swimming and diving (29), men's tennis (15) and men's outdoor track and field (19).
