In the eighth, McCain had a solo homer, L'Esperance was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Gottlieb walked with the bases loaded.

Grinnell (12-18 overall) scored four runs in the first inning of the second game and never looked back. McCain led the hitting attack with four and Garrett Nasif '24 struck out eight in six innings to collect the win.
