GRINNELL, Iowa - Facing Knox College's tricky triple-option offense, Grinnell College's defense held its own Saturday afternoon at Rosenbloom Field.

Knox, which ran the ball on 73 of its 75 offensive plays, got a touchdown and extra point early in the second period.

Grinnell finally dented the scoreboard in the third period on a drive that came about from a recovered fumble by Williams. Woodhouse hit Wilson with a 26-yard pass on the ensuing drive and added a 24-yarder to Rhinehart.

A few plays later, Woodhouse connected with Wilson on a 7-yard scoring pass. Rhinehart's point after tied the game at 7-all with 1:59 left in the period.

Knox scored midway through the fourth period, but Grinnell promptly moved downfield. Destino rushed for 33 yards, CJ Readon '27 added a 17-yard run and Woodhouse hit Wilson with a 12-yard pass. However, a fumble ended the drive.
