JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Midwest Conference co-leader Illinois College burst out to a fast start on its way to defeating Grinnell College 93-0 in football action Saturday afternoon.
 
The Blueboys (7-1, 6-1 MWC) led 31-0 after one period. Grayson Woodhouse '24 completed 7-of-13 passes for Grinnell for 59 yards, while Jack Reed '27 and Hunter Jackson '227 had two catches each. Reed's totaled 33 yards.
 
On the rushing front, Danny Quirk '25 had 41 yards.
 
On defense, the Pioneers (2-6, 2-5 MWC) were led by Bert Greene '26, Keaton Fitzgerald '26 and Greyson Blanchard '26 with six tackles apiece and Tim Johnson '24, Breck Bishop '26 and TJ Lawrence '25 with five each.
 
Grinnell is at home next Saturday when the University of Chicago visits Rosenbloom Field. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
