All-Region Teams

GRINNELL, Iowa – Giada Bambi '25 wrapped up a stellar women's soccer career at Grinnell College by being named to the NCAA Division III All-Region IX third team.
 
Bambi was selected to the squad, which is determined by the United Soccer Coaches, at a defender spot.
 
Bambi became just the eighth GC player to earn All-Midwest Conference recognition four times in a career. In 2024, she helped anchor a stellar Pioneer defense that gave up just 1.35 goals per game and posted seven shutouts. Her efforts helped Grinnell to its third MWC Tournament berth in a row.
 
Bambi also finished sixth all-time at Grinnell in games started with 66 and 11^th for shots on goal with 54. She is the Pioneers' first All-Region selection since Jane March achieved the honor in 2022.
