CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Grinnell College's cross country teams will take aim at the Midwest Conference titles taken from them last fall when they compete in the annual league meet on Saturday.
 
The event, hosted by Cornell College, will commence at 11 a.m. Saturday with the men's 8-kilometer race at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids. The women's 6-kilometer event follows at noon.
 
Last season, the Pioneer women tallied 45 points to finish 11 behind champion Lawrence University. Ripon College was a distant third with 68. On the men's side, the Pioneers were third with 69 points to finish behind Cornell (43) and Lawrence (69).
 
This season, Grinnell women have four of the top nine times in the league with 
Morgan Karow '26 (fifth), 
Sindri Bonner '28 (seventh), 
Hannah Roark '26 (eighth) and 
Lizzie Drew '29 (ninth). Also in the top 15 are 
Arushi Kharbanda '29 (12
th) and 
Emma Wharton-Hsieh '27 (14
th).
 
GC's men have four runners in the top 15 with
