2025 All-Midwest Conference Team
GRINNELL, Iowa – With the aid of a strong finish to the season, Grinnell College's men's soccer team put its most players on the All-Midwest Conference Team since 2022.

Four Pioneers earned All-MWC honors, led by first-team attacker
Oliver Northing '26 and first-team defender
Jack Pennachio '28. Second-teamers from Grinnell were attackers
Samuel Gojjam '27 and
Demi Oni '27.

Northing, a two-time All-MWC selection, led the Pioneers (16), goals (seven) and game-winning goals (two). He ranked eighth in the league in overall goals and sixth in game-winning goals.

Pennachio anchored the Pioneers' stingy defense that posted four shutouts during the season and gave up just 1.88 goals per game. He ranked second in league competition with three assists.

Gojjam was the league leader in shots and shots and goal with 4.25 and 2.13 per game, respectively. He also ranked fourth in goals with four and seventh in assists with 1.00 per outing.

Oni was another stellar offensive performer, ranking second in league competition with three assists while tallying 0.88 points per outing to rank eighth.

Lake Forest College won three of the four major awards – Peter Cirbo (Offensive Player of the Year), Alexis Flores (Defensive Player of the Year) and Dan Andrews/assistants (Coaching Staff of the Year). Eziah Hernandez of Beloit College was named Newcomer of the Year.
