All-Region Team
GRINNELL, Iowa – For the second season in a row, Grinnell College's
Kai Te Huki '27 has been named to the D3hoops.com All-Region 9 Team.

Te Huki, last season's region Rookie of the Year and a third-team selection, made the jump to the second team in 2025. He is Grinnell's first two-time All-Region selection since Vinny Curta and the sixth multi-year pick in school history.

Te Huki, a first-team All-Midwest Conference selection for the second season in a row, ranked fourth nationally in 3-pointers per game with 3.67. He was tops on the team with 20.6 points per game and also had 44 assists, 26 steals and 54 rebounds.

Te Huki's efforts helped Grinnell to a school-record 20 victories, MWC Tournament crown and spot in the NCAA D-III Tournament for the first time since 2001.

Another MWC player, Zay Brown of Monmouth College, was named the region's Rookie of the Year. Logan Pearson of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, the team GC played in the first round of the NCAA Tourney, was named Player of the Year and Paul Grove of the University of Minnesota-Morris was tabbed Coach of the Year.
