GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College's Isabella (Bella) Nesbeth '26 has been selected to represent the Midwest Conference on the NCAA Division III National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
 
As a member of the committee, she will:
. Sustain and advance the Association's mission, traditions, values and reputation.
. Regularly participate in committee meetings and conference calls, prepared and well informed.
. Serve as an advocate for the Association.
 
Nesbeth, a member of Grinnell's softball team who will also join the Pioneers' diving team this fall, is an Independent Studies major from Morrisville, N.C. She is already a published author, penning the children's book "Diplomat Up to Bat: Sports Diplomacy in Action."
 
"I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to be a voice for student-athletes at the national level, contribute to meaningful discussions on legislation and student-athlete welfare and collaborate with passionate leaders from across the country to enhance the D-III experience," said Nesbeth.
