Records in 32 categories tumble during Pioneers' successful baseball campaign

GRINNELL, Iowa - Not only did Grinnell College post the second-most baseball victories in a season during the 2025 campaign, the Pioneers broke or tied 32 school records in the process.

Individual season marks came from Stuart Cash '27 (stolen base percentage), Mac McCain '25 and Ethan Crawford '25 (games played), McCain (at-bats, hits and RBIs), Crawford (hit by pitch) and Ben Skiles '28 (fielding percentage). Ben Kelly '25 set a new mark for doubles in a game.

On the career chart, records came from McCain (games played, at-bats, runs, hits and sacrifice flies), Crawford (hit by pitch) and Skiles (fielding percentage).

Grinnell also set team records for runs, hits, RBIs and total bases in a game and season marks for games, at-bats, runs, hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs, total bases, hit by pitch, sacrifice flies, stolen bases, innings pitched and putouts.
