SLIAC Release

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Emily Lackershire '27 of Grinnell College has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Women's Golfer of the Week.
 
Lackershire, from Happy Valley, Ore. (Adrienne C. Nelson), was impressive in the Pioneers' season-opening appearance at the Wartburg Fall Invitational. She recorded a 2-under-par 70 on the opening day, a score that ranks sixth in program history. She finished at 147 to place fourth in a field of 128. As a team, Grinnell was third among 21 squads.
 
Blake Turner of Lyon College was named SLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week.
