Grinnell's Connor McKay named to WGCA's Coach of the Year Watch List

GRINNELL, Iowa - Grinnell College's Connor McKay has been named to the Central Region Watchlist for the Jackie Steinmann Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride.

McKay is one of five coaches from the region on the list, which also includes the University of Wisconsin-Stout's Sophia Connett, St. Catherine University's Mary Giorgi, Macalester College's Johnny Greene and Dave Reinhardt from Washington University in St. Louis.

The watchlist highlights excellence throughout the year and recognizes those who have made an early impact on their teams and across the collegiate landscape.

McKay guided the Pioneers to another St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) championship this fall, his third in a row since taking over the squad. Grinnell also has qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships all of those seasons.
