GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College's Connor Goodson '26 has been named the Midwest Conference Baseball Position Player of the Week.
 
Goodson, a first baseman from Norman, Okla. (Norman), was a big part of Grinnell winning all five of its games during the week by hitting .429 and posting a perfect fielding percentage. He was 9-of-21 at the plate with two homers, two doubles and 13 RBIs. He posted a .810 slugging percentage and a .435 on-base percentage. In the field, Goodson had 34 putouts and three assists in 37 chances.
 
Lucas Brutsche of Cornell College was named MWC Pitcher of the Week.
