Keni and Keshav are top Grinnell performers on opening day of Illinois Wesleyan meet

NORMAL, Ill. - Vidushi Keni '26 and Kavya Keshav '26 each recorded 4-over-par 76s to lead the Grinnell College women's golf team on the opening day of the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling on Saturday.

Keni had three birdies at Ironwood Golf Club, while Keshav added two. They are tied for 13th in a field of 121 golfers.

Saya Geisendorfer '27 added a 79, Amy Nguyen '26 posted an 80 and Waverly Yang '28 shot 85. Each golfer had one birdie on the day.

Grinnell is sixth in the 21-team field with a 311. Washington-St. Louis leads the field at 296 and Grace Fagan of Illinois Wesleyan is the individual leader at 68
