D3baseball.com Team of the Week

GRINNELL Iowa – After earning Midwest Conference Baseball Position Player of the Week a few days ago, Grinnell College's Stuart Cash '27 has gained national acclaim.
 
Cash, from Mount View, Calif. (Los Altos), has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week at the third base spot.

Cash hit the trifecta by belting homers in three consecutive at-bats in a 17-5 victory over Beloit College Saturday. He tied a school record for homers in a game with three and also had 13 total bases, which ranks third in program history. Grinnell posted its first-ever regular-season sweep of Beloit while remaining in the MWC lead with a 10-2 mark.
 
For the week, Cash hit .571 by going 8-of-14 with three homers, two doubles, eight RBIs and six runs scored. He had a 1.357 slugging percentage and .600 on-base percentage while also going 6-of-6 in stolen bases.
