SLIAC Championships

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. – Grinnell College's men's golf team will look to build on its recent rise in success when it competes at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Championships.
 
The event, slated to be played at Far Oaks Golf Club, begins Sunday and runs through Tuesday. The champion earns the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championships.
 
Grinnell's lineup will consist of Roger Smith '28, Spencer Moody '29, Everett Williams '29, Josh Udelson '29 and Max Shin '29.
 
Grinnell is on pace to break the school season record for stroke average with a 303.1. Moody and Smith have led the way, with Moody averaging 73.9 for 18 holes and Smith averaging 74.7. Williams is also in the 70s at 75.9, while Udelson and Shin are averaging 80.3 and 80.9, respectively.
