Grinnell men's golf team set to tee it up at NCAA D-III Championships

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Grinnell College's men's golf team will tee it up with the nation's best when it competes in the NCAA Division III Championships this week.

The Pioneers punched their ticket to the event for the first time in program history by winning the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) championship.

The first Pioneer to tee off Tuesday at Mission Inn Resort will be Max Shin '29 at 12:35 p.m. Eastern time. He'll be followed by Josh Udelson '29 at 12:45 p.m., Everett Williams '29 at 12:55 p.m., Roger Smith '28 at 1:05 p.m. and Spencer Moody '29 at 1:15 p.m.

Grinnell is one of 43 teams in the field. After two days, the top 18 teams and six individuals not on one of those teams advance to the final two days of competition.
