SLIAC Women's Golf Release

GRINNELL, Iowa – It's little surprise that the Grinnell College women's golf team is a heavy favorite to repeat as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) champion this season.
 
The Pioneers have won every SLIAC title since they joined the league for golf in the 2019-20 season. Grinnell is riding a 13-year league title streak, with the first six coming in the Midwest Conference and the last seven in the SLIAC.
 
Grinnell received the maximum 10 first-place votes and 100 points in balloting of league coaches. Mississippi University for Women was picked second with one top vote and 82 points. Following MUW was Illinois College (79 points), Lyon (69) and Spalding (64).
