GRINNELL, Iowa – League coaches have picked Grinnell College to defend its Midwest Conference women's cross country title in 2026.
 
The Pioneers, who have won two of the last three crowns, received seven first-place votes and tallied 75 points. They were followed by Ripon College and Cornell College, who are tied for second with 71 points. Cornell had the other three first-place votes.
 
Lawrence University was picked fourth with 56 points and league newcomer Luther College came in fifth with 46.
