Grinnell College’s Kyle Parker ’17 has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Basketball Performer of the Week.
 
Parker is a 6-0, 190-pound guard from Chicago, Ill. (University of Chicago Lab School). He returned from missing several games due to injury in impressive fashion Saturday, erupting for 23 points with the aid of four 3-pointers in a 109-89 come-from-behind victory at Lawrence University.
 
He also recorded four assists, two steals and grabbed five rebounds as Grinnell snapped a three-game losing streak and won for the first time at Lawrence since the 2011-12 season.
