Grinnell College's Vidushi Sinha '19 has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Golf Performer of the Week.
Sinha, from Gurgaon, Haryana, India (Shri Ram School), outlasted 99 other golfers in a loaded field to claim top honors at the Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Classic over the weekend. She shot a sizzling 1-under-par 71 on the opening day at Ironwood Golf Club, and topped that on Sunday with a 70 for a final score of 141. She was the only golfer under par for the tournament, as the runners-up both shot 4-over-par.
Sinha, who has now won five medalist titles in her collegiate career, propelled Grinnell to fourth place in the 17-team field.
