Grinnell College catcher Sam Galanek '18 has named second-team American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Central Region and third-team D3baseball.com All-Central Region performer.
 
Galanek established the Grinnell school record for career sacrifice flies with 16 and set season marks for games played (38), at bats (151) and fielding percentage (1.000). He ranked in the Midwest Conference top 10 in batting average (.371), slugging percentage (.570), hits (56), RBIs (50), doubles (15), homers (5) and sacrifice flies (4).
