Kate Tomczik ’22, a 5-11 forward from St. Cloud, Minn. (Cathedral): Tomczik averaged a double-double over two games (10.0 points and 13.5 rebounds) as the Pioneers posted a pair of key league victories. She collected a double-double of 17 rebounds and 15 points to go along with a career-best three assists as the Pioneers dropped Lawrence University 64-59. It continued the Pioneers’ dominance of the Vikings, as Grinnell beat its opponent for the 19th time in the last 20 meetings. Earlier in the week, Tomczik had 10 boards and five points as Grinnell completed its season sweep of Illinois College with a 57-52 win.
