Giada Bambi '25 today accomplished something no Grinnell College women's soccer player has done in a decade-and-a-half.
 
Bambi has been named to the All-Midwest Conference first team, a feat not achieved by a Grinnell first-year player since Miki Nakamura in 2006. Bambi earned the honor as a field player.
 
Bambi, whose sister Simo Bambi was an All-MWC selection in 2019, had an amazing first season with the squad. She led the team in several categories including goals (three), points (eight), shots (26) and shots on goal (19). She ranked near the top of the GC lineup in shots on goal success rate at 73.1 percent.
