Following a quadruple victory effort, Grinnell College's Sean Colson '26 has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.
Colson, from Silver Spring, Md. (Northwood), entered the program's career leader board in two events as Grinnell cruised past Luther College 192-80 Saturday. Colson won the 100-yard backstroke in 52.68, the 10th-best time in program history, and claimed the 200 individual medley in 1:58.04, which ranks 17th all-time.
Additionally, he won the 100 freestyle in 48.02 and was on the first-place 200 freestyle relay team that swam 1:29.54.
