Grinnell College Athletics

Sarah Burnell '14 (Grinnell, Iowa/Grinnell) was named the Midwest Conference Women's Track Performer of the Week. She won the 1500-meter run at Saturday’s Dick Young Classic with a time of 4:44.82, which is tops in the Midwest Conference this season. She also was part of the first-place 4x400 relay team that ran a school record and MWC-best 4:02.50. The previous school mark was 4:03.82, set last season.
