In the Wartburg win, Grinnell won at 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 singles with Krull (6-0, 6-2), Luk (6-3, 6-2), Thirouin (6-4, 6-0), Macdonald (6-2, 6-3) and Rumley (6-3, 6-3). Winning doubles teams were Luk-Thiroiun (8-4), Krull-Fitch (8-2) and Macdonald-Rumley (8-5).

“Overall this was a very good day for our team,” said Grinnell coach Andy Hamilton, whose squad is 14-8 on the season. “It was nice for us to find some success against quality opponents. I'm particularly pleased for our seniors playing in their last regular-season matches in our lineup. Laura Krull and Catherine Fitch were dominant at No. 2 doubles and Kelsey Scott, our other senior who played today, got valuable time and was successful at No. 4 exhibition doubles. Moving forward, we will be focused on skill and drill work the next few weeks before we head into the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament in early May.”
