Box ScoreGRINNELL, Iowa – The Grinnell College women's tennis team finished its fall regular season on a dominating note Sunday, shutting out Beloit College 9-0 in the Charles Benson Bear '39 Recreation and Athletic Center Field House.

The Pioneers surrendered just two games the entire day while improving to 8-2 in the Midwest Conference and 9-4 overall. The victory extended Grinnell's winning streak to five matches.

Beloit dropped to 3-7 in league play and 4-11 overall.

Virginia Purcell '17 won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. Winning by 6-0, 6-0 scores at Nos. 2 through 6 were
