Box Score GRINNELL, Iowa – The Grinnell College women's soccer team continued its dominating defensive play Sunday afternoon, battling St. Norbert College to a 0-0 tie in a key Midwest Conference battle at Springer Field.
The Pioneers, who posted their eighth shutout of the season, moved to 5-2-1 in the league and 9-6-1 overall. St. Norbert is 3-2-1 in the MWC and 5-8-1 in all contests.
Grinnell keeper
Katy Oldach '16 recorded nine saves while lowering her goals against average to 0.89 for the season.
The Pioneers won the shots battle 24-15, with
Carolyn Silverman '17 taking five shots,
Dabney Hofammann '15 four,
Elle Silverman '15 three and
Sarah Jensen '15, Annike Helverson '18 and
Lilyrose Weiss '18 two apiece.
Grinnell plays a MWC contest Saturday at Monmouth College, starting at 2:30 p.m.
