Box Score EAST PEORIA, Ill. – The Grinnell College softball team lost a 23-0 decision to St. Norbert College Sunday afternoon in the Midwest Conference Crossover.
 
The winners broke out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back.
 
Grinnell managed one hit, a single by Megan Gibson '17 in the first inning. Lydia Stariha '17 was the pitcher of record.
 
St. Norbert improved to 5-3 in the league and 10-13 overall. Grinnell is 0-6 in MWC play and 0-12 in all games.
 
Grinnell's final game of the Crossover, a contest with Ripon College, was suspended due to rain.
 
Grinnell travels to Mount Vernon on Wednesday to battle Cornell College. The first pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
