ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Grinnell College women's tennis team saw its season draw to a close Friday with a 5-0 loss to nationally-ranked Washington University in the NCAA Division III Central Region Tournament.
 
The Pioneers, who on Thursday won their second-ever NCAA tourney match, finished at 17-8 and a No. 15 regional ranking. Washington, the No. 1 team in the region and ranked ninth nationally, moves on with an 18-5 record.
