On Sunday, Madara earned her first victory as the Pioneer women's tennis coach as Grinnell rolled over St. Ambrose University 7-2.

The Pioneers opened in a big way, sweeping doubles with the teams of
Judith Fan '19-
Amelia Cogan '19 (8-2),
Anushka Joshi '18-
Megan Jans '19 (8-4) and
Lily Hamilton '19-
Brenda Guan '20 (8-6).

The Pioneers also won Nos. 2 through 5 singles with Jans (6-4, 6-1), Joshi (6-0, 6-0), Hamilton (7-5, 6-1) and Guan (6-3, 6-3).

Grinnell improved to 1-1 with the win, while St. Ambrose fell to 0-1.

The Pioneers are back in action Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Tournament.
