Grinnell women's tennis team puts up good fight against nationally-ranked Hope

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Grinnell College women's tennis team wrapped up its spring break trip with a tough task, taking on nationally-ranked Hope College Friday.
 
Hope, rated 23rd in the nation and eighth in the Central Region, came away with a 9-0 victory to improve to 7-2. Grinnell is 11-5.
 
A pair of Pioneers enjoyed particularly strong weeks in Florida. Judith Fan '19 was 4-1 at No. 1 singles and 4-1 at the top doubles position with Amelia Cogan '19. Cogan was 3-2 at No. 2 singles.
 
Grinnell has over a week off before playing Coe College in Cedar Rapids on April 2.
