Tournament Preview

MADISON, Wis. - The Grinnell College women's tennis team will be looking to defend its Midwest Conference Tournament team title Thursday at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

The Pioneers (14-6, 9-0 MWC) are the top seed after going through league play unbeaten and will play fourth-seeded Lake Forest College (10-9, 6-3 MWC) at 11:30 a.m. The other semifinal pits second-seeded St. Norbert College (21-11, 8-1 MWC) and third-seeded Cornell College (18-6, 7-2 MWC), also at 11:30 a.m.

The championship is at 4 p.m., with that winner earning the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
