GALESBURG, Ill. – The Grinnell College women's tennis team was nothing short of dominant in a pair of 9-0 Midwest Conference victories Saturday.

In wins over Monmouth College and Knox College, the Pioneers stretched their winning streak to six matches while improving to 6-1 overall and a perfect 4-0 in league play.

Grinnell players won 192 games on the day while the opponents combined for just 21 victories.

Additionally,
Amelia Cogan '19 won both her doubles matches to boost her career win total to 56, which ranks seventh all-time at Grinnell.

Singles winners, in order, against Monmouth were Cvrkota (6-3, 6-2), Cogan (6-1, 6-0), Hickey (6-0, 6-0), Nielsen (6-0, 6-0), Joshi (6-1, 6-0) and
Lily Hamilton '19 (6-0, 6-0). Winning doubles matches were the teams of Cogan-Nielsen (8-0), Cvrkota-Hickey (8-2) and Joshi-
Brenda Guan '20 (8-1).

Against Knox, singles winners were Cvrkota (6-0, 6-2), Cogan (6-2, 6-2), Hickey (6-0, 6-1), Nielsen (6-0, 6-0), Joshi (6-1, 6-0) and Hamilton (6-0, 6-1). Winning in doubles were Cogan-Cvrkota (8-2), Hickey-Nielsen (8-0) and Joshi-Hamilton (8-1).
