GRINNELL, Iowa – The Grinnell College women's track and field team had several impressive efforts at the season-opening Pioneer Preview Friday night at the Bear Center Field House.
 
Event champs for Grinnell were Paige Olowu '22 in the 200-meter dash (28.25 seconds) and long jump (5.05 meters), Sydney Cohen '23 in the 300 (45.97), Micaela Daney '22 in the mile (6:05.38), Tali Tesar '22 in the 60 hurdles (10.98), Tallulah Pellisslier Lloyd '22 in the high jump (1.40 meters), Sarina Kopf '22 in the pole vault (3.05 meters) and Chloe Gonzales '23 in the shot put (5.48 meters).
 
Grinnell had three athletes move up or break into the program's all-time top 10. Olowu's performance in the long jump ranks third in program history and Mia Kauffman's '23 clocking of 8.54 in the 60 dash is seventh.
