ORLANDO, Fla. – Grinnell College's women's tennis team completed its spring break trip on a dominating note Thursday, sailing past Concordia University of Wisconsin by a 7-2 score at the USTA National Campus.

Grinnell made a fierce comeback in the contest, winning all the singles matches after falling behind 2-1 in doubles.
Judith Fan '19 led the way, posting a 6-0, 6-0 shutout victory at No. 3. Other winners were
Abby Nielsen '21 at No. 1 (6-0, 6-1),
Isabel Green '22 at No. 2 (7-5, 6-1),
Lily Hamilton '19 at No. 4 (6-3, 6-0),
Sara Amano '22 at No. 5 (6-3, 6-1) and
Natalie Cook '20 at No. 6 (6-1, 7-5).

In doubles, Nielsen and Fan posted an 8-4 victory at the top spot.

Earlier in the day, Grinnell dropped an 8-1 decision to the nation's 39th-ranked team, Hope College. The Pioneers' win came at No. 2 doubles with Green and Amano, who were victorious 8-5.

During the day, Hamilton moved up to fifth on Grinnell's career singles wins list with 64 while Fan moved to 16th with 42. In doubles, Fan moved up to the 14th spot with 50 victories and Nielsen took the 24th spot with 37 wins.

Grinnell, 11-5, went 3-2 on spring break and will play next against Simpson College on April 6 in Grinnell.
