MIDDLETON, Wis. - Fresh off a Midwest Conference regular-season title, the Grinnell College women's tennis team is now preparing for the league tournament.

The four-squad MWC Team Tournament is slated for Friday at Hitters SportsPlex in Middleton, Wis. Grinnell is the top seed and takes on fourth-seeded Cornell College at 9 a.m., followed by No. 2 seed Lake Forest College facing No. 3 Lawrence University at noon. The winners then play in the title match, with an NCAA Division III National Tournament berth awaiting the champ.

Action then shifts to Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison, Wis., where the MWC Individual Tournament will take place. The doubles tournament will be contested Saturday and the singles event Sunday.
