MIDDLETON, Wis. – Grinnell College's women's tennis team will have a busy weekend in Midwest Conference Tournament action.
The Pioneers compete in the league's four-team automatic qualifier for the NCAA Division III Tournament Friday, meeting Illinois College at 9 a.m. at Hitters SportsPlex in Middleton, Wis.
Grinnell is the top seed after winning the MWC regular-season title with a perfect 6-0 mark. Illinois College, the fourth seed, is 3-3 with one loss a 9-0 setback to Grinnell last Saturday.
The other semifinal pits No. 2 seed Lake Forest College and No. 3 Lawrence University. The winners meet in the title match later in the afternoon.
Grinnell then will turn its focus to the MWC Individual Tournament Saturday and Sunday at Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison, Wis. Saturday's action, which includes two rounds of singles and one round of doubles, will begin at approximately 1 p.m.
Singles championships, consolation championships and remaining doubles will be contested Sunday, starting at 9 a.m.

Mira Manchanda '24 is the second seed at No. 2.
Erin Jarvis '25 and Perrin are the top seed at No. 2 doubles, while Agusti and
Sophia de los Reyes '23 are tops at No. 3. Tang and Giannakou are seeded second at No. 1.
